One of my least favorite parts about cleaning up my energy around the topic of money has been releasing unfulfilled promises from others.
As a mentor and coach….sometimes you get burned and it doesn’t feel good; especially when the dollar amount is in the thousands. I choose to not use contracts in my business because I personally do not like signing up for an agreement that may shift or change at any given moment.
I honor and trust my clients to show up and to commit to the financial agreement they entered into verbally.
Today….. I decided it was time to release my anger and frustration towards someone who promised to pay and honor my services at a later time when they were able to do so. In my opinion, they have not made the effort to reach out to settle the original intention and at this point, it serves ME to move forward and free us both up from the energy of it.
As a business owner who gives her all to her clients, holds sacred space, provides insight, clarity, connection, information, and helps them trust to make decisions for themselves and their greater good…. it is a bit disheartening how quickly someone can forget how you were once their only form of support during a challenging time.
I am reminded to dig deeper….money is always a mirror
The mirror in this experience has been that during the time of working with this individual:
I did not value and respect myself the way I do today, nor did they.
I didn’t acknowledge the red flags
I put their best interest before my own
I ignored the fact that they weren’t showing up for themselves…let alone honor my agreement
I allowed them to be late
I let them text and email me whenever they wanted to
I gave them time above and beyond our agreed upon times
I worked harder for them to see their light than they allowed themselves to do.
This emotional weight and baggage of this experience no longer will compete for my presence. With this message, I wish them well and hope this serves someone else to hold their value. I am grateful for this lesson, since then I raised my rates, take a credit/debit card up front for services, and do not book anything on my calendar until it is prepaid.
Sometimes our MBA education in “Earth school” comes in the form of big disappointments. Thank you for teaching me…. I do not need to relearn this lesson or relive this pattern.
I release this obligation and any entanglements known and unknown with this individual, I forgive them for not bringing closure to this experience, and most of all I forgive myself for any assumptions I held or responsibility in the situation adding to the entanglement of energy.

I am now choosing to see them living in integrity within themselves, making healthy choices, and honoring their spirit..and so it is <3
Ho’oponopono
I’M SORRY
PLEASE FORGIVE ME
THANK YOU
I LOVE YOU
There is no shortage of abundance in this universe, nothing meant to come to me can be lost, it will simply recycle into another form~
