The Autumn (Fall) Equinox occurs once a year. During this time, the sun crosses over the celestial equator moving south into the northern hemisphere and day and night are of equal length. This is a powerful day for change, balance, and rituals to celebrate the Fall Equinox. The Fall equinox is a time of transition for mother earth, and our bodies shift along with it.
Ritual is a beautiful part of life, many of us create rituals every day not even realizing that is what we are doing. Here are my top 5 Rituals for Celebrating the Fall Equinox:

1.) Create an Altar- Altars help ground the energy in while providing a tangible space for you to create and manifest from. It can be as simple as a bookshelf, a windowsill, or even a small box, no need to overthink or complicate it.
2.) Ceremony- gather your friends and loved ones, give thanks for all that you have, and for all that is on its way to you! Abundance, harvest, gratitude, are all part of the powerful energy of this time. Coming together creates connection, community, and boosts the energy of any intention.
3.) Go outside and connect with nature-
Nature has beautiful insight and awareness for us to learn from, simply sitting in silence and becoming the observer to your surroundings can help connect and deepen your experience and harmony with the earth.
4.) Honor the Earth
Some cultures leave gifts for Mother Earth, such as sage, herbs, tobacco, as an offering and a prayer of gratitude for all that she offers to us.
5.) Meditation– Deep reflection for what you have created in your life, the good the not so good…..all of it is important! Meditation can help you embrace the energy of the season, find ways to bring more balance (today’s theme) into your life, and help you release limitation.
